AI Use Policy
NiviScholar Insights recognizes the role of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in writing assistance. However, we maintain strict guidelines to ensure academic integrity and originality.
Acceptable Use of AI
Authors may use AI writing assistants (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) for:
- Grammatical correction, copyediting, and style enhancement.
- Brainstorming structure, outlines, or formatting lists.
- Translating sections of text from other languages.
Unacceptable Use & Responsibility
Author Accountability
The human author remains entirely responsible for the accuracy, factuality, references, and overall integrity of the submission. AI-generated text must be reviewed and disclosed. Undisclosed generative writing, hallucinated references, or copy-pasted AI essays are not accepted.
Disclosure Requirement
If AI tools were used to draft, rephrase, or construct parts of the article, authors must include a short statement in their Declarations section:
"Declaration of AI-Use: The authors utilized [Tool Name] for [purpose, e.g., grammatical polishing / translation]. The authors reviewed and edited the output and accept full responsibility for the content."
